I have no idea how to clear the search history in my browser.

"How do I clear my search history on YouTube? YouTube doesn't save your searches, but your browser probably does. If you don't want to see your previous search terms displayed in the search field, you need to clear the search history in your browser."

tools.....internet options......clear browsing history........clear temporary files

That didn't work, but going down the list of previously requested info and hitting the DELETE key did!

if you use firefox and you want to disable the auto-fill responses, go to Tools, Options,
then its the Privacy, Saved Forms tab (2nd one from left in my version), and either uncheck the box to save form data, or just clear history there as well.

In IE,
click on Tools, internet options, then select the content tab, followed by the Auto-complete button midway down that tab. Clear everything you've already searched for, and de-select the options you would like autofill for

Hi Scott. I will make my first post here. There is a nice software called CCleaner that will remove your history and also comes with many more options.

Give it a try, it's free.
